GANZO began crafting bags in earnest in the spring of 2012. From the very beginning, our ideal was clear: to create bags that could be used and cherished for ten years.
The dignified presence unique to a fine leather bag. Beautiful forms refined to their essentials. And a sense of attachment that deepens with every passing year. The first collection to embody these ideals was the Bridle series.
Fourteen years have passed since then.
The times have changed, as have people’s lifestyles, fashion, and the things they carry with them. GANZO bags have evolved as well, with materials and specifications refined over the years—from Bridle to AVON, and from 7QS-H to 7QS-R.
Yet there are elements that have remained unchanged since the brand’s beginnings. Solid brass hardware, GANZO’s original fasteners, and carefully selected lining materials—components whose value cannot be measured by cost alone.
In recent years, we have also incorporated new functional elements, including GANZO-branded zippers, FIDLOCK magnetic fastening systems, and high-strength COBRA® X buckles. Each has been carefully chosen to make our bags even more durable, practical, and enduring.

【7QS-R — “Seven Qualities Shrink – Recycle”】
A reflection of GANZO’s commitment to quality at every one of the seven stages of production, from the initial treatment of the leather through to the final finish.
7QS-R is crafted from steer leather sourced from cattle raised through a circular agricultural system in partnership with the livestock industry. By using sustainably sourced Japanese hides, the collection brings together GANZO’s uncompromising approach to craftsmanship with a more sustainable vision for the future.
Side Zipper
A side zipper provides easy access to the main compartment even while the bag is carried over the shoulder, making movement and everyday use more effortless.
It allows frequently needed items to be retrieved quickly, making it particularly practical in business situations where a bag is opened and closed often. Because the main opening does not need to be fully opened, the contents remain less visible, maintaining a clean and sophisticated appearance.

N POLO
Made from bullhide vegetable-tanned leather, N POLO uses only carefully selected “double butt” sections—dense, high-quality leather that has been drum-dyed and meticulously milled to bring out its rich character.
Although embossed, the leather has a naturally textured appearance reminiscent of genuine shrink leather, combined with an understated elegance.
The collection introduces a sophisticated new shade for GANZO: a refined, mature gray.
Premium Vegetable-Tanned Leather
from European Bullhide
This exceptional leather comes from Tannery Masure, a historic Belgian tannery founded in 1873.
After vegetable tanning and dyeing, the leather is embossed with a shrink pattern and then milled to bring out a full, supple character. Although embossed, it retains a naturally textured grain reminiscent of genuine shrink leather.
Leather Cord Closure
The opening is secured with a high-strength COBRA® X buckle and leather cord.
The system offers smooth, effortless operation while also helping to preserve the bag’s beautiful form. The silhouette naturally adjusts to the volume of its contents, maintaining a clean and refined appearance even when fully packed.

Made from the same leather used for the GUD series, each piece is carefully hand-worked by skilled artisans, who gently knead the leather by hand to bring out its rich, distinctive character.

Made from North American steer leather, selected for its fine grain and exceptional strength. The leather is embossed and finished in Japan, with careful attention paid to minimizing the appearance of seams and preserving its natural firmness and depth.
A water-based finish, now widely used by European tanneries, is applied using a traditional technique to create a sophisticated matte appearance and a supple, smooth touch that feels comfortable in the hand.
The bag is constructed using a dedicated sewing machine and an outward-sewn technique, without turning the leather inside out. Meticulous attention is paid to every seam, allowing the natural beauty and rich depth of the leather to take center stage.

7QS-R Boston Bag
Made from hides of cattle raised as part of a circular agricultural system in Shibetsu, Hokkaido. The leather is carefully tanned by a tannery in Himeji and finished as an original GANZO leather.
Its story begins with the land and the animals themselves, embodying GANZO’s approach to sustainable craftsmanship and thoughtful material selection.
Cattle raised in Shibetsu benefit from a cool climate with fewer insects even during summer, contributing to the leather’s exceptionally fine and beautiful grain.
The bag can be secured with a padlock enclosed in a leather cover, adding an extra layer of security and peace of mind when traveling.
