This tote bag is handcrafted to showcase the texture and firmness of vegetable-tanned bullhide while retaining its considerable thickness. The interior has pockets and leather cords placed appropriately according to the GANZO bag philosophy. Additionally, the opening is secured with a special resin spring snap and leather cord, which stabilize the overall shape of the bag.
A highlight is the long padded handles that sit comfortably on your shoulder. The interior is secured with a leather binder to prevent it from coming loose, and leather is also used in the bottom panel, resulting in a bag that is both elegant and beautiful. Also suitable for travel, this tote bag combines beauty with functionality.
[Carefully handcrafted with attention to detail]
This is the third installment of GANZO's shrunken leather series.
The unique charm that is only found in handcrafted details is an essential part of GANZO's bag design philosophy. In order to make the most of our soft, supple, original N POLO material, we made heavy use of turned and open seams as well as an uncommon leather binder, focusing on the character of the N POLO leather. The meticulous handcraftsmanship will only grow on people the more they use this product. Also available in a mature gray that is rare for GANZO.
[Premium bullhide from Europe]
The leather used for N POLO is from the long-standing Tannery Masure in Estaimbourg, Belgium, founded in 1873.
Premium bullhide from Europe is drum-tanned with vegetable tannins to create a thick, high-quality base, which is then drum-dyed. After that, it is shrink-embossed and then thoroughly milled for over a day. Only the highest grade, high-density "double butt" portions from the back are carefully selected for use.
Despite being embossed, the material reproduces the natural texture of genuine shrunken leather, resulting in a rich vegetable-tanned leather that is both elegant and firm.
