ULTRASUEDE Backpack

¥64,000

Casual backpack

A lightweight and casual backpack with a cover. The flap is newly equipped with a magnet that can be easily opened and closed. The safety of the back is also improved. Two three-dimensional pockets are placed, and the zippers are made of YKK aluminum to reduce weight. A flat pocket on the interior back side can hold a tablet or laptop, and the shoulder tapes are smooth and easy to adjust. The backpack is perfect for casual or business use, and can be carried in any way.

Evolutionary lightweight bag

As a new suggestion from GANZO, the body of the bag is made of Ultrasuede®, a material produced by Toray Industries, since 1970. Ultrasuede was developed by studying the structure of deerskin leather as an artificial leather, not natural leather. It is a lightweight material that is constantly evolving, with excellent durability, and easy to use. GANZO has used the technology cultivated in genuine leather to tailor the Ultrasuede without compromise. Four items were developed with the intention of creating a large, yet lightweight, genderless design.

Ultrasuede® — Toray Industries

Since its product launch in 1970, Toray's technological innovation has created a highly functional suede-like man-made leather that has continued to evolve. The raw material, polyester ultrafine fiber, is an amazingly thin fiber with a total length of 900 km and a weight of less than 1g. The material is made by intertwining bundles of ultrafine fibers and polymer elastic material in a three-dimensional manner, closely intertwining them like deerskin tissue. GANZO added a water-repellent agent in the post-processing, and developed a thick yet light weight original material suitable for bags.

*Toray Industries: A leading chemical company dealing in synthetic fibers, synthetic resins, and other chemical products and information-related materials. Ultrasuede® is a registered trademark of Toray Industries, Inc.

Attention

  • We have done our utmost to display the actual color of the products shown here, but the colors in the images may appear different depending on the computer, smartphone or monitor environment used. We ask for your understanding in this matter.
  • There may be scratches, irregular coloring, abrasion, creases (wrinkles from the actual animal), etc. on the surface of the leather but please note that these are the natural characteristics of the leather.
  • In order to preserve the natural texture of the leather, no waterproofing or colorfastening treatment has been applied, which may cause color migration onto clothing. Please take care when using near water.
